Floor Plan mode creates top-down 2D kitchen floor plans from approximate room dimensions and layout choices without a photo upload. Render mode takes a photo of your existing kitchen and previews cabinet profiles, countertop materials, backsplashes and lighting in context. Both modes return static concept images; a qualified professional must still confirm measurements, appliance clearances and utilities before installation.

In Floor Plan mode, enter approximate width and length, then compare One-Wall, Galley, L-Shaped, U-Shaped, Peninsula or Island kitchen floor plans with an optional island or walk-in pantry. Check how refrigerator landing, sink, prep and cooking zones relate before drawing a measured plan.
In Render mode, keep your camera angle, windows and doors while testing Shaker, Flat panel, Handleless, Glass-front, Open shelving or Full-height storage with curated palettes such as Light Oak + Warm White, Sage Green + Butcher Block or Navy Cabinets + Brass.
Use Focused refresh in Render mode to keep visible appliances and furniture while updating cabinet finishes, counters, backsplash and hardware, or choose Creative makeover to explore broader storage, lighting and island styling.

Step 01
Select Floor Plan to generate a top-down 2D layout concept from dimensions without uploading an image. Select Render and upload a clear kitchen photo (JPG, PNG or WebP) when you want to preview cabinets, counters and finishes on your existing room.
Step 02
In Floor Plan mode, enter width and length, choose a Kitchen Layout (One-Wall, Galley, L-Shaped, U-Shaped, Peninsula or Island) and toggle an island or walk-in pantry. In Render mode, choose Change Scope, Design Style, Cabinet Style, Remodel Focus and Materials / Palette.
Step 03
Use Additional Information to name what must stay—such as a window over the sink, refrigerator location or wood floor—and any priority the presets do not cover. Keep the note aligned with the mode you selected.

Check the displayed credit cost and click Generate. Keep the same dimensions or source photo while changing one layout or palette at a time, then verify real appliance dimensions, door swings and clearances before ordering materials.
